aussicht – Gestalter reflektieren ihren Beruf
My final projekt at uni was a teamwork with Johanna Mangard and was called ‘aussicht – Gestalter reflektieren ihren Beruf’. The word ‘aussicht’ means in one word perspectives and in two words ‘aus Sicht’ it stands for the opinions of different people.
Within our project we interviewed 15 persons; designers, former designers, professors and some experts e.g. a broker for the creative business and a staff member of the federal employment agency. With our project we want to encourage the self-reflection of designers and want to foster the exchange of experiences among designers and those who want to become such.

Our concept contained on one hand magazines that were planned to be published four times a year and would contain the interviews. On the other hand it contained a website for the constant exchange between designers. The website was also kind of a research tool that recorded what designers actually work as.
